Clair McGough
Founder
Hi, I’m Clair — founder of Blue Star Marketing and your go-to marketing partner. After 8 years working across a variety of industries, including food & drink compliance, hospitality, manufacturing, recruitment, and wellness coaching, I’ve seen firsthand just how powerful good marketing can be for a business — especially when it feels personal, clear, and consistent.
When I was made redundant in April 2025, I took it as the perfect opportunity to turn my experience into something meaningful. That’s how Blue Star Marketing was born — to help small businesses and passionate founders shine online, without the overwhelm.
I’m based in beautiful County Durham in the North East of England, where I live with my husband, two teenage boys, and our cockapoo, Ringo (who likes to think he’s the real boss!).
